Work Injuries
Injuries on the job are often limited to claims brought under the workers’ compensation statute. Work injuries can be brought as personal injury cases when the employee has been injured by a third party due to negligence. This could be an injury that is perpetrated by a non-employee at a commercial building, construction site, industrial site, or while visiting a manufacturing facility or as the result of a car crash. Non-third-party injuries are considered workers’ compensation claims and should be handled by a workers’ compensation attorney or licensed worker compensation specialist.
